The JEE Paper 2 2025 for B.Arch has three main sections: Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing. Here’s a breakdown of the syllabus:

1. Mathematics:

This section covers a wide range of topics from 11th and 12th grade mathematics, testing your problem-solving and analytical skills. Key topics include:

• Binomial Theorem: Binomial theorem for positive integral index, general and middle terms.
• Sequence and Series: Arithmetic, geometric and harmonic progressions, sums of finite and infinite series.
• Limit, Continuity, and Differentiability: Limits, continuity of functions, derivatives, and their applications.
• Integral Calculus: Indefinite and definite integrals, areas, and differential equations.
• Differential Equations: Formation of differential equations, solutions of first-order differential equations.
• Coordinate Geometry: Straight lines, circles, parabola, ellipse, and hyperbola.
• Three Dimensional Geometry: Coordinates of a point in space, distance between two points, direction cosines and ratios, the equation of a plane and a line in space.
• Vector Algebra: Vectors, scalar and vector products, and their applications.
• Statistics and Probability: Measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, and Bayes’ theorem.
• Trigonometry: Trigonometric functions, identities, and equations.
• Mathematical Reasoning: Statements, logical operations, and implication.

2. Aptitude:

This section assesses your visual and spatial reasoning abilities, along with your awareness of architecture and design principles. It is divided into two parts:

• Part I: Awareness of places, people, buildings, materials, textures, etc. This tests your general knowledge related to architecture, famous buildings, and materials.
• Part II: Three-dimensional perception and visualization. This assesses your ability to:
  • Visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings.
  • Understand scale and proportion.
  • Analyze color, texture, harmony, and contrast.
  • Create 2D and 3D compositions.
  • Sketch scenes from memory (urban, landscape, rural life).

3. Drawing:

This section evaluates your sketching and drawing skills. You’ll be expected to:

• Create drawings that reflect your understanding of scale and proportion.
• Demonstrate your ability to sketch objects and scenes from memory.
